Just a reminder that the next Open Tech 2010 is already next week – on the 11 September. The platform brings together a variety of interesting projects which seek to further participation in ‘technology, politics and justice’. This year’s event offers presentations on, for example, OpenGeoscience, museum engagement, genome data ownership, the use of gaming in public engagement and ‘spreading skills’ through social media. As usual, the event takes place inside the University of London Union, Malet Street.
Entry: £5, first 150 students who register and turn up early (before 10.40am) go free!
Doors open at 10am, first presentation starts at 10.45am.
